MUMC's "new and improved" Youth Activities Group held the first of many "fun days" on Saturday August 18, 2007.
The group, which consisted of 6 young people ranging in age from 10-14 years and 5 adults, met in the Church parking lot at 8:30 AM. From there, the group headed out to Clermont Lanes for a morning of bowling, video games and pizza. The group also celebrated the 14th birthday of James Rogers. Although the kids made the adults look bad, a good time was had by all.
This is the first of many events to be held. The kids voted to have activities on a monthly basis. Future events will include trips to Wet & Wild, miniature golf, movies, roller skating and other assorted activities.
