A Scout is helpful!
Troop 786 Scouts recently made a “Clean Sweep” to help their town residents out a little bit. Due to recent heavy rains, as well as the industrious work by a rougue praire dog, the local bike/jogging trail was becoming not only unsightly, but also somewhat dangerous to cyclist using the trail from the sand that had eroded across the trail in several spots.
Grabbing their brooms, rakes, and shovels the Boy Scouts removed the sand from the trail and refilled the prarie dog holes (the prairie dog was previously relocated). Residents could once again ride through this portion of the trail without worrying about having their tires slip out from under them!
