Small Groups

While our primary vehicle for getting people connected is our Nexus Groups, Montverde seeks to provide a ministry to suit almost any interest. If we don’t have it, we’ll look into finding a way to make it happen! Our Nexus Groups meet to help people develop their walk with Christ in a way that meets their real life needs. There are groups for prayer, men, women, young adults and those young at heart.

Children

Our children's ministries exist to help parents raise their children with their eyes focused on the love of Christ. For infants through 4 year olds we offer our Early Childhood ministry and the ministry for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Youth

Students coming to Montverde United Methodist learn about their walk with Christ through the student ministry. This group meets Saturday evenings one hour before the contemporary worship service.

Serving Together

Many of our ministries meet regularly as groups that serve. The worship team has groups that perform and run the show behind the scenes. Members of our Welcome team provide a friendly greeting and accurate information for those visiting Montverde United Methodist. Missions and Evangelism help support efforts to reach the lost both locally and throughout the world and within our community. There is a place for you. We are a Worship +2 church. This means that everyone is encouraged to attend a worship service, do something for themselves (like be in a Nexus Group) and do something for someone else (such as help in another ministry).
